MABEL (FIFER) ROSE, 07 Apr 1888 - 13 Aug 1987

   Mabel Rose, 99, Angola, died Thursday at Lakeland Nursing 
Home.  She was born in DeKalb County to Frank and Ella 
Cummings Fifer.
   Surviving are one son, Willard Rose, Angola; two 
daughters, Mrs. Jess (Maxine) Reynolds, Angola, and Mrs. 
Blaine (Ilene) Deller, Fremont; and 11 grandchildren.
   Her husband, Cleve Rose, died in 1952.
   Services were held Saturday at Beams Funeral Home, 
Fremont, with Pastor J. Glenn Radcliffe officiating.  Burial 
was in Circle Hill Cemetery

Cleve Rose, 1884 - 1952.  They are buried at Circle Hill 
Cemetery. Angola, Steuben County, Indiana.  She was the 
daughter of Simon Franklin Fifer, 03 Oct 1850 - 29 Mar 1922, 
who, on 06 Feb 1884, married his 2nd wife, Ella (Cummins) 
Fifer, 1857 - 12 Nov 1953. They are buried at Hamilton 
Cemetery, Steuben County, Indiana.  Simon married his 1st 
wife on 30 Mar 1875, (divorced) Lucinda (Beigh) Fifer, 01 Nov 
1854 - 28 Mar 1885.  Lucinda is buried at block Cemetery, 
Steuben County, Indiana.

CHILDREN OF THE MARRIAGE OF MABEL AND CLEVE ROSE:
   Willard C. Rose, 16 Mar 1912 - 11 May 2002, married Helen 
L. (Moore) Rose, 29 Sep 1914 - 06 Jun 2000.  They are buried 
at Circle Hill Cemetery.
   Ilene (Rose) Deller, no dates, married Blain Deller, 12 
Oct 1919 - 06 Mar 1997.  They are buried at Circle Hill 
Cemetery.
   Maxine (Rose) Reynolds, 16 Oct 1920 - 24 Apr 2002, married 
Jess Reynolds, born 1907, no other information.  They are 
buried at Circle Hill Cemetery.

MABEL'S SIBLINGS FROM FATHER'S SECOND MARRIAGE:
   Loretta A. (Fifer) Rose, 08 Oct 1885 - 02 May 1971, 
married Bert Rose, 1880 - 03 Apr 1961.  They are buried at 
Hamilton Cemetery.
   Olive F. (Fifer) Bowles cook, 02 Sep 1886 - 09 Jan 1978, 
married 1st, George M. Bowles, 1880 - 19545.  They are buried 
at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Steuben County, Indiana.  She 
married 2nd, Clarence Cook, no other information.
   Anna (Fifer) Ford, 08 Mar 1893 - 20 Feb 1944, married 
Lewis Willis Ford, 29 Oct 1888 - 26 Feb 1978.  They are  
buried at Hamilton Cemetery.

   Fred Piper, 01 Nov 1876 - 03 May 1937, married May Elnora 
(Resler) Fifer, 16 Apr 1881 - 09 Jul 1952.  They are buried 
at Block Cemetery.
   Freeman Fifer, 29 Apr 1879 - Aug 1965, married Georgia 
Ethel (Huntington) Fifer, 1883 - 12 Jan 1971.  They are 
buried at Hamilton Cemetery.
