CHALES OLIVER ROZELL, 25 Sep 1849 - 09 Mar 1906

                 Charles Oliver Rozell
   Was born near Bettsville, Ohio, Sept. 25, 1849, and died 
at his home southeast of Angola, Ind., March 9, 1906, aged 56 
years, 5 months and 11 days. 
   He came to Steuben county with his parents in 1870 and 
resided on the same farm until the time of his death.  
December 31, 1871, he was united in marriage to Sarah C. 
Lininger, and to them were born four sons, Ora C., the 
oldest, preceded him to the Better Land while in infancy.  He 
was loved by all who knew him and especially by those who 
knew him best.  He loved his home and family and his greatest 
comfort was when he could do something for their welfare.  He 
was taken from the midst of relatives and friends without any 
warning, but as God loves the pure at heart, He must have had 
a place for him.
   He leaves a wife, one brother, three sons, two 
grandchildren and a host of friends who mourn their loss.  
The funeral services were held at his late home on Sunday 
afternoon, March 11, 1906, at 2 p.m., Elder Vernon Stauffer 
officiating.  Burial in Circle Hill cemetery.

Sarah Catherine (Lininger) Rozell, 24 Dec 1851 - 22 May 1911.  
They are buried at Circle Hill Cemetery, Angola, Steuben 
County, Indiana.  Charles was the son of David C. Rozell, 17 
Feb 1819 - 02 Jan 1892, and his 1st wife, Sarah B. (_____) 
Rozell, 09 May 1813 - 28 Jul 1873.  His father's 2nd wife was 
Mary A. (_____) Rozell, 25 Jun 1828 - 23 Aug 1883.  David and 
his wives are buried at Circle Hill Cemetery.  Sarah was the 
daughter of John Lininger, 07 Feb 1824 - 28 Jul 1898, and his 
1st  wife, Elizabeth (Dotts) Lininger, 05 Apr 1832 - 03 Mar 
1864.  John and Elizabeth are buried at Scott Cemetery, 
Steuben County, Indiana.

CHILDREN:

   Ora Milo Rozell, 18 Sep 1873 - 11 Oct 1875, is buried at 
Circle Hill Cemetery.
   Roy E. Rozell, 16 Dec 1876 - Jan 1934, on 28 Apr 1898 
married Jessie May (Williams) Rozell, 1878 - 1947.  They are
buried at Circle Hill Cemetery.  Jessie was the daughter of
Joseph C. 26 May 1854 - Jan 1919, and Mary D. (Tingler) 
Williams, 1854 - 1933.  They are buried at Circle Hill
Cemetery.
   Glenn C. Rozell, 1890 - 1949, married Edna M. (Burch)
Rozell, 12 Feb 1891 - 13 Nov 1975.  They are buried at 
Circle Hill Cemetery.  Edna was the daughter of Lorenzo 
Burch, 1866 - 1934, and his 1st wife, Mina May (Corey) Burch,
1869 - 1916.  They are buried at North Otsego Cemetery,
Steuben County, Indiana.  His 2nd wife was Mary Fee (Everitt)
Burch, 28 Mar 1864 - 14 Dec 1923.  She is buried with her 
1st husband, James Everitt, 1863 - 1899, at Teegardin 
Cemetery, Steuben County, Indiana.
