Mrs. Rummel for many years past has been the victim of a wasting and incurable malady, and her death was not unexpected by her friends. Since nearly her entire life was spent in the vicinity of the place of her death, she was familiarly known by a large circle of acquaintances, by whom she was greatly respected as a most excellent woman.
