A former Fremont resident, Willard N. Ryan,78 of Auburn, died Monday February 8. He was dead on arrival at the DeKalb Memorial Hospital.
    Mr. Ryan was born in Stueben County on May 26,1903, the son of Benjamin and Linnie Rockafellow Ryan. He was married to Elma Sindel.
    Surviving are his wife, Elma; four sons, Marvin of Pocono Mountains, Pennslyvania, Nihl of LaGrange, John of Piketon, Ohio, and Dennis of Dorchester,Texas; one stepson, Dale Snyder of Fremont; two Daughters, Mrs. Henry (Margaret) Henson of Fort Wayne, and Mrs. Jerry(Shari) Ramey of Waterloo; a sister, Mrs. Edgar (Mabel) Lowe of Angola:28 grandchildren.
    Funeral services will be held Friday at the Beams Funeral Home in Fremont with the Reverend J. Glenn Radcliffe officiating: K. of P. services will be held Thursday evening at 8 p.m.
    Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 2 to 9 p.m. Burial will be in the Fremont Cemetery.
