Sanborn was born in Chittenden county, Vermont, Sept. 26, 1821, and died at Tappen, North Dakota, Oct. 27, 1902, aged 81 years, 1 month and 1 day. She was married to M. Sanborn, Dec. 27, 1859, in Boston, Summit county, O., and moved from there to Steuben county, Ind., then to LaGrange county, then back to Steuben, and in 1882, they moved to Tappen Kidder county, N. D. They were both earnest workers and believers in the Lord and Master for upwards of fifty years. She leaves four daughters, eight grand-children, and eight great grand- children, to mourn their loss. They died at Tappen, North Dakota so they are probably buried there. They are not listed in the Cemetery book. Possible son per Cemetery book, Johney Sanborn, 08 Apr 1860 - 27 Jun 1873, buried at Memorial Grove Cemetery, Steuben County, Indiana. "Cemeteries of Steuben County, Indiana, 1990."
