John Sayles died Sunday night about 11 o'clock.

Also on page 4, under "DIED":
In Jamestown township, Steuben Co., Ind., Oct. 7, 1900,  John M. Sayles aged 45 years, 6 months and 22 days.
Deceased was born March 12, 1855, and was united in marriage with Miss Lydia A. Decker, Nov. 4, 1883, and to them were born seven children, who, with the wife and aged father, survive him.  Under these circumstances the death of Mr. Sayles is a peculiarly sad one.  The funeral services were held at the Christian Church in Angola, conducted by Elder Medbury."
