Obituary Surnames: Shoup, Devlin Wathen, Aldrich CLEO T. SHOUP Cleo T. Shoup, 62, of Route 2, Fremont, was dead on arrival Saturday at St. Joseph Hospital, Fort Wayne. Funeral services were conducted at 1 p.m. today (Wednesday) at the Weicht Funeral Home, with Pastor Clyde Friedman of the Calvary Lutheran Church Officiating. Interment followed in the Jamestown Cemetery. Moose Lodge memorial rites were held at the funeral home at 8 p.m. Tuesday. Shoup was born June 9, a908, in Woodward, Oklahoma. He was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose of Angola. Survivors include his wife, Marcelia; two sons, James, of Route 3, Angola, and Ronald LaMar, Seattle, Washington; one daughter, Mrs. Bonnie Louise Devlin, Independence, Kansas; four grandchildren; his mother, Mrs. John Shoup, of Battle Creek, Michigan; four brothers, Roy and Kenneth, both of Route 3, Angola; Raymond, Coldwater, Michigan, and Estel, Angola; and three sisters, Mrs. Gladys Wathen, of Orland; Miss Hazel Shoup, Sierra Leone, West Africa; and Mrs. Waneta Aldrich, of Battle Creek, Michigan.
