Mrs. Jacob Sidel, daughter of John and Hannah Kunce, was born in Huntington
Co., Ind., Sep 10, 1857. She was married to Jacob Sidel Nov 30, 1873. To
this union was born two children, a son, Elmer in 1870 and a daughter Hattie in 
1885. In 1894 she became a member of the Church of God. She remained
faithful until her death which occurred at her home near Flint on Jan 15, 1908, aged
50 years, 4 months, and 5 days.

The departed has been a constant sufferer for years and in her affliction
she bore them most patiently. She was always kind and charitable to those who 
knew her and was an affectionate companion and loving mother and sister.
She leaves to mourn her departure, her companion, Jacob Sidel, two children, 
mother, one brother, one sister, three grandchildren and a host of other
more distant relatives and friends.

The Funeral was conducted by Elder A. McClellan at Union chapel, after
which we laid her at rest in the cemetery near by.
