WILLIAM SLAYBAUGH, 13 Dec 1843 - 25 Feb 1901

   William Slaybaugh, eighth child of Leonard and Hannah Slaybaugh, 
was born in Umpani(?) county, Ohio, December 13, 1843.  Departed 
this life, February 25, 1901, aged 57 years, 2 months and 12 days.
   He came with his parents to Steuben county, Indiana, in the year 
of 1848, where he has since lived.  He was united in marriage to 
Sarah J. Beils, in 1871.  To this union ten children were born.   He 
was a member of the Christian church in Angola.  He leaves to mourn 
his loss a wife, ten children, one grandchild, five brothers, three 
sisters and a number of friends.  His funeral services were 
conducted at Hudson, February 20, 1901, Rev. McClellan, officiating.

History book), married Hannah (Mortorff) Slaybaugh, 10 Jun 1814 - 03 
Sep 1880 (05 per History book).  They are buried at County Line 
Cemetery, Steuben County, Indiana.

married John Perkey Rummel, 12 Apr 1838 - 25 Oct 1926.
   Susan T. (Slaybaugh) Clingan, 16 Apr 1839 - 19 Jun 1893, married 
D. B. Clingan.  Susan and two children buried at County Line

   Isaac Slaybaugh, 29 Oct 1840 - 1920, on 09 Oct 1862, married 
Elizabeth M. (Thresher/Thrasher), 08 Jan 1838 - 24 Aug 1897, buried 
at Pleasant Lake Cemetery, Steuben County, Indiana.
   Barbara H. Slaybaugh, 23 Jul 1845 - 25 Feb 1863, aged 17 years 
and 7 months, buried at County Line Cemetery.
   Mary E. (Slaybaugh) Johnson, 1850 - 1903, on 20 Oct 1872, married 
Abner B. Johnson, 1850 - 1902, buried at Circle Hill Cemetery, 
Angola, Steuben County, Indiana.
   George W. Slaybaugh, 1852 - 1930, married Lucy P. (_______) 
Slaybaugh, 1858 - 1919, buried at O-HUD Cemetery.
