Funeral was held at the house, Rev. J. M. Kendall, officiating. Burial in Pleasant Lake cemetery. The parents are buried at County Line Cemetery, Steuben County, Indiana. On 02 Mar 1854, in DeKalb County, Indiana, Amos married Elizabeth (Wolfgang) Smith, 31 Jan 1827 - 04 Dec 1893. They are buried at Pleasant Lake Cemetery, Steuben County, Indiana. CHILDREN: William E. Smith, 31 Jul 1855 - 16 Aug 1856, aged 1 year, 9 months and 16 days, buried at County Line Cemetery. Sarah L. (Smith) Shuman, 1857 - 1935, married Charles E. Shuman, 1860 - 1910, buried at pleasant Lake Cemetery. Edmon F. Smith, 1860 - 1936, married Enola I. (Weldin) Smith, 22 Oct 1864 - 08 Mar 1925, daughter of Leander and Rebecca Weldin. Edmon and Enola are buried at Pleasant Lake Cemetery. Della (Smith) Mountz, 1863 - 1932, on 03 Mar 1885, married Francis Henry Mountz, 06 Jul 1859 - 07 Dec 1911, buried at Pleasant Lake Cemetery.
