JOHN FRANCIS “JOCK” SOMMERLOTT

Sept. 1, 1908 – Feb. 14, 1991

Former Angola resident, John Francis “Jock” Sommerlott, 82, Cedar Hill, Texas, died Thursday morning, Feb. 14, in Cedar Hill.

            He was born in Metz to Mr. and Mrs. John Sommerlott on Sept. 1, 1908.

            Mr. Sommerlott was a World War II veteran and a member of Angola Moose. He graduated from Angola High School.

            Surviving are his wife Jean; one daughter, Nan Hastings of Cedar Hill; two stepsons, Brian Mead of Stevensville, Mich., and Jeffery Mead of Cedar Hill and four grandchildren.

            Memorial services are pending in Cedar Hill.
