ROBERT SQUIER, 13 Mar 1823 - 20 Mar 1893 DIED - At his home in York township, Steuben Co., Indiana, March 20, 1893, Robert Squier, age 70 years and 7 days. Deceased was born in Ontario county, N.Y., and in 1833 moved to Sandusky Co., Ohio, and in 1843 came to Steuben county, settling on a farm two miles northeast of Angola where he lived until three years ago, except fifteen years, when he lived in Angola and carried the mail from Angola to Coldwater. He was united in marriage, Feb. 17, 1850, with Amelia Armstrong, who survives him. To them were born three children, two sons and a daughter, who with the mother and an aged sister, the last of a family of nine, remain to mourn their loss. Funeral services were held at him home on Thursday, March 23, the order of Free Masons conducting the exercises, J. O. Rose, minister, officiating.
