Steuben-Republican 4 Nov 1925 JACOB STAFFORD Jake G. Stafford, son of George and Emma Stafford, was born near Angola, Indiana, October 26, 1882, and departed this life October 30, 1925, aged 43 years and 3 days. He was united in marriage to Miss Cora J. Harmon, December 19, 1904. To this union was born six children, two daughters and four sons. One son died in infancy in 1924. His father preceded him to the Great-Beyond, February 26, 1916. He leaves to mourn his departure besides his devoted wife and children, is other, two brothers and two sisters, Otis J., Healdton, Okla., Wier L., Orland, Indiana, Lola B. Kidney, Ellis, Indiana, Eva M. Weller on the old home place, near Angola, Indiana and a host of relatives and friends. His life was spent near Angola, excepting the last seven years, when he lived near Hillsdale, Michigan on a farm. Funeral services were held at the South Scott Church, Sunday, November 1, 1925, at 1:00 P.M. Elder M.O. Johnston, officiating. Burial in South Scott Cemetery. Submitted by J.A.
