WILLIAM G. STAYNER  12 Jul 1890 - 23 Apr 1983

        Retired farmer, William G. Stayner, 92, of Route 1, Angola, died
Saturday in the Coldwater Community Health Center.
        Mr. Stayner was born in Pleasant Twp., Steuben county, the son of
William L. and Jane Castell Stayner. He had been a school bus driver from 1931
to 1983 for the Flint School.
        Surviving are his wife, Audra Abbott Stayner; two sons, Wendell of
Angola, and William L. of Bronson; two daughters, Frances Stayner of
Cleveland, Ohio, and Mary Holland of Waldron, Mich;13 grandchildren, 26 great
grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
        Services were held Tuesday at the Weicht Funeral Home in Angola with
Dr. J. Glenn Radcliffe officiating. Burial was in Jackson Prairie Cemetery.

ADDITIONAL NOTES:

        William G. Stayner was the grandson of Milton and Eliza Jane
(Campbell) Stayner. Audra (Abbott) Stayner was born 20 Apr 1899 and died 22
May 1990.
