STEUBEN REPUBLICAN, WEDNESDAY, MARCH 11, 1903, page 1, column 6 SARAH E. (MICHAEL) STEPHENS, 23 Aug 1833 - 02 Mar 1903 Sarah E. Stephens was born in Dauphin county, Pa., August 23, 1833, and died in Fremont, Indiana, March 2, 1903, aged 69 years, 6 months and 9 days. She was united in marriage to Joshua Stephens in Dauphin County, Pa., Dec. 31, 1850, and came with him to Fremont, Ind., in the spring of 1851, where she has made her home with the exception of about 12 years. She was the mother of six children, five sons and one daughter, the daughter having died at the age of four and a half years. She was converted and joined the M. E. church when sixteen years of age, of which church she has been a faithful member and an active earnest worker to the time of her death. Besides her immediate family she leaves three brothers and two sisters, many other relatives and a large circle of friends to mourn their loss. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Sarah E.
