Nichols was born in Kersey county, Ohio, July 26, 1832; died at her home in Angola, Aug. 5, 1903, aged 66 years and 10 days. March, 1854, she was united in marriage to Nathan Tuttle. To this union were born two children who survive her. She also leaves five grandchildren, one brother and a host of friends. The funeral services were held at her late home on Friday afternoon by Rev. A. G. Neal. Burial in old cemetery. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Betsey E. (Nichols) Tuttle, 26 Jul 1832 - 05 Aug 1903, on 26 Apr 1854, became the 2nd wife of Nathan H. Tuttle, 12 Nov 1827 - 11 Mar 1897. His 1st wife was Nancy M. (Light) Tuttle, 13 Nov 1833 - 02 Jan 1853. They are all buried at Old Angola Cemetery, Angola, Steuben County, Indiana. Betsey's name was Elizabeth on her marriage license. Nathan was the son of Halsey Tuttle and Betsy (Cleveland) Tuttle. CHILDREN: Calvin E. Tuttle, 23 Aug 1856 - 25 May 1927, on 22 Mar 1882, married Rosa M. (Palmer) Tuttle, 04 Oct 1858 - 16 Jun 1941. They are buried at Circle Hill Cemetery, Angola, Steuben County, Indiana. Charlotte (Lottie on marriage license) A.
