WALTER WRIGHT TYRRILL, 11 Aug 1854 - 26 Dec 1916 Walter Wright Tyrrill, the seventh child of a family of nine children, born to David C. and Amy Ann Tyrrill, was born at Camden, Mich., Aug. 11, 1854. He died at his home near Camden, Dec. 26th, 1916, aged 62 years, 4 months and 15 days. He was married to Emma Stallman at her home near Metz on Dec. 25, 1887. This union was blessed with one son, Louie E., who is still in the home with his mother. He became a member of the Christian church at Metz, Ind., in 1885. After establishing his home at South Camden, he transferred his church home to the Liberal U. B. church of that place and remained faithful until his death. He was also an honored member of the I. O. O. F. 312 at Camden. He was a loving husband and father. He often spoke of his mother whom he had lost years ago and of his aged father who shared his home many years. These were sacred memories to him. He lived all his married life, except a short time, at Metz, Ind., on the farm where he died. He leaves to mourn their loss his wife and one son. He also leaves three sisters, Charlotte Tyrill of Fort Wayne, Mrs. Hannah Hettler, and Mrs. Anna Haughey of Camden, Mich., and four brothers, George and David Tyrrill of Camden, Albert of Kendallville, Ind., and also William Riley of Reading, Mich. There are also nieces and nephews and other relatives and many friends. He often spoke, during his long sickness, of his willingness to go.
