ORA EUGENE VanWAGNER, 05 Nov 1922 - 07 Jan 1986

   Ora E. VanWagner, 63, Orland, died last Tuesday at Cameron 
Memorial Hospital.  He was born in Orland to Bryon(sic) and 
Florence Davies VanWagner. 
   Surviving are his wife, Marian Evans; three sons, Larry 
VanWagner, Sturgis, Mich.; Gary VanWagner, Tempe, Ariz.; and 
Gale VanWagner, Hendersonville, Tenn.; one brother, Harold 
VanWagner, Quincy, Mich.; three sisters, Mary Lou Adams, 
Costa Rica; Betty Denman, Edgerton, Ohio; and Marjorie 
Storer, Orland; and two grandchildren.
   He was retired from Dana Weatherhead and a member of the 
American Legion, Post 324, Orland.
   Services were held Friday at Shoup-Carney-Frost Funeral 
Home, Howe, with the Rev. Steve Altman officiating.  Burial 
was in Greenlawn Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to the 
American Heart Association.

   Ora Eugene VanWagner, 05 Nov 1922 - 07 Jan 1986, married 
Marian (Evans) VanWagner, no dates available for her.  They 
are buried at Greenlawn Cemetery, Orland, Steuben County, 
Indiana.  Marian was the daughter of John W. Evans, 17 Mar 
1886 - 01 Aug 1956, and Matie M. (Paxson) Evans Starrett, 13 
Nov 1898 - 12 Dec 1962.  Matie's 2nd husband was Almon 
Starrett, no other information.  

   Ora's parents:  He was the son of Byron VanWagner, 13 Jan 
1877 - 20 Jan 1950, and Florence Amber (Davis) VanWagner, 21 
Aug 1889 - 29 Jan 1962.  They are buried at Greenlawn 
Cemetery.  Florence was the daughter of Horace Ephriam Davis, 
10 Mar 1832 - 05 Nov 1912, and his 3rd wife, Eliza aGreen, 
1844 - Mar 1893.  They are buried at Jackson Prarie Cemetery, 
Steuben County, Indiana.

   Joyce D. VanWagner, 01Sep 1911 - 18 Apr 1977.
   Harold Byron VanWagner, 18 Nov 1917 - 14 Jun 1994, married 
Alberta A. (DePace) VanWagner, 1912 - no date of death.  They 
are buried at Greenlawn Cemetery.
   Betty Joan VanWagner, 25 Jan 1924 - 24 Dec 1976.
   Marjorie Florence (VanWagner) Storrer, 28 Jun 1928 - 28 
Oct 1987.
   There was one more child.
