STEUBEN REPUBLICAN, WEDNESDAY, MARCH 25, 1903, page 1, column 5 ANGELINE A. (STATES) WEYBURN, 27 Mar 1825 - 11 Mar 1903 Angeline A. States was born in Seneca county, New York, March 27, 1825, and died in Jamestown, Steuben county, Ind., March 11, 1903, aged 77 years, 11 months and 11 days. She moved to Ohio with her parents when nine years of age. Deceased was married to Joshua Weyburn, Nov. 1849, and located at Middleburg, Elkhart county, Ind., where they lived until Jun 12, 1865, when they moved with their family to a farm in Jamestown township, where they have since lived, with the exception of the few years they lived in Fremont and South Bend. She was the mother of five children, four sons and one daughter, of whom only two sons survive her together with her husband to mourn their loss. Although having been ailing for two years past, deceased was not bed fast until on Monday evening, March 9, when she was suddenly taken ill and died on the following Wednesday. Only an hour before this sudden change she had made the remark that she was feeling better, and more free from pain, than for a long time past. The funeral was held at the church in Jamestown at 1:30 a.m. (possibly should be 10:30 a.m. or 1:30 p.m.?), Saturday, March 14. Elder C. S. Census for Jamestown, Steuben County, Indiana, Family History Library, Salt Lake City, Utah, #1254312, Film #T9-0312, page #340D, show Frank and IDA Weyburn, age 23, born about 1857, living next door to Joshua and Angeline. Arthur C. Weyburn, born about 1853, married Emma (Bates) Weyburn, 1846 - 16 Oct 1877. Emma is buried at Jamestown Cemetery. Arthur's burial place unknown. Their daughter, Lulu E. Weyburn, 1876 - 1897, is buried at Jamestown Cemetery. The 1880 U. S. Census, same numbers and page number as Frank's, shows Arthur, age 27, and his wife, LILLIE Weyburn, age 21, living with his daughter, Lulu, age 3, in his parent's home. No other information about Lillie and no marriage license in Steuben County for them, but she is probably the 2nd wife.
