OBITUARY

Frances Addie Whitney, daughter of George and Miranda Whitney, was born in
Rives Junction, Jackson, Co., Mich., Nov. 25, 1858, departed this life May
21, 1924, aged 65 years, 5 months and 26 days.
      She was united in marriage to John Henry Hufnagle, Nov. 29, 1882.
      To this union were born four children; Nellie, who died at the age of
7 weeks; Boydia, at home; Vern, at whose home she was cared for and passed
away, at Fremont; and Mrs. Hattie Easterline, of Coldwater, Mich.
      Nine grandchildren, two brothers, John Whitney of Hillsdale, Mich. and
Frank Whitney of Montgomery, Mich. and a host of relatives and friends
survive her.
      Her father, mother, and two brothers preceded her in death.
      The funeral was held at the M.E. Church in Fremont, the Rev. V.L.
Clear officiating.  Burial was in the Old Cemetery at Fremont.
Loving Mother, true and kind,
No friend on earth like her we'll find.
For all of us she gave her best,
God grant her peace and happiness.
