MARIAN WILDER, 05 Oct 1894 - 27 Jun 1987 Marian Wilder, 92, St. Petersburg, Fla., died at Majestic Towers Retirement Center in St. Petersburg. She was born in Orland to Edson A. and Julia Edgar Wilder. A graduate of Orland High School and Hillsdale College, she worked in Chicago and Cleveland for a number of years. During World Ward II she served with the American Red Cross in the China-India-Burma theater. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Orland, at a later date. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Marian Wilder, 05 Oct 1894 - 27 Jun 1987, was the youngest child of Edson Adelman Wilder, 16 Apr 1845 - 09 Apr 1927, and Julia E. (Edgar) Wilder, 09 Feb 1854 - 29 Aug 1930. They are buried at Greenlawn Cemetery, Orland, Steuben County, Indiana. Edson Adelman Wilder was the son of Orlando Wilder, 25 Nov 1815 - 08 Nov 1891, and Ursula (Humphrey) Wilder, 23 Dec 1821 - 06 Aug 1906. They are buried at Greenlawn Cemetery. Julia (Edgar) Wilder was the daughter of Philip Edgar and Ellen (Blakeslee) Edgar Richards. SIBLINGS: Harry Edgar Wilder, 15 Mar 1875 - 27 Jun 1954, married Alice (Collins) Wilder, 04 Feb 1876 - 07 Apr 1961. They are buried at Greenlawn Cemetery. Marian had two sisters, Nellie Wilder, age 6, and Bertha, age 3, listed in the 1880 United States Census, Mill Grove, Steuben County, Indiana, Family History Library Film #1254312, NA Film #T9-0312, page 250D. Alice (Collins) Wilder was the daughter of Charles Harvey Collins, 10 Apr 1839 - 17 Nov 1896, and Lucy (Carroll) Collins, 03 Aug 1844 - 18 Dec 1915. Charles Harvey Collins was the son of pioneers Burton Collins, 23 Feb 1794 - 18 Jan 1849, and Annahritte (Chaffee) Collins, 02 Jan 1797 - 16 Jul 1882. Lucy was the daughter of Edward Carroll, 10 Jan 1810 - 08 Aug 1887, and Jane (Bonney) Carroll, 22 Feb 1807 - 17 Dec 1871. They are all buried at Jamestown Cemetery, Steuben County, Indiana.
