SMITH WILLIAMS -

Smith Williams, 70, lifelong resident of Metz, Where he had followed the barber trade, was found dead in his bed Monday morning. death presumably having occurred several hours earlier. Mr. Williams and his brother, Vere, who discovered his death, had lived together for a number of years. Neither were married. Mr. Williams was supposed to be in  his usual health, and had been active at his trade up until his death.

The son of Mr. and Mrs. Lon Williams, former residents of Metz, Mr. Williams was a member of a large family, nine sisters and three brothers surviving him, He was a veteran of World War I.

Services for Mr. Williams will be held in the Weicht Funeral Home at 1 p.m. on Wednesday with Malcolm Meston, Pastor of the Church of Christ in Metz officiating. Burial will be in the American Legion plat in Circle Hill cemetery, with Angola Post of the American Legion conducting the graveside service.
