STEUBEN REPUBLICAN, WEDNESDAY, JULY 25, 1894, page 8, column 4 HANNAH C. (GAMBIA) WILLIAMSON, 20 Jun 1831 - 17 Jul 1894 DIED at her home in York township, Steuben county, Indiana, July 17, 1894, Mrs. Hannah C. Willliamson, aged 63 years and 27 days. Hannah C. Gambia was born in Seneca county, New York, June 20, 1831`, and was married to Peter Williamson, September 10, 1857. He gave his life in defense of his country September 2, 1865, leaving her the care of three children, two daughters and one son, who survive her. There is another, whom she chose to care for in later life, who will feel her loss as keenly as they having been a member of the family for fourteen years. The mother died after much suffering patiently borne. She said she was trusting Jesus and knew religion to be a great comfort, so our great loss will be her gain.
