Blanche D. Willibey
    Blanche D. Willibey, daughter of Otis and Sarah (Denman) Gates, was born in Otsego Township, Steuben County, on August 3, 1887, and departed this life at the home of her son, Gaylor Willibey, on March 19, aged 86 years.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, a brother and a great-granddaughter.
    She was united in marriage to Blaine Wilibey on November 24, 1909.  To this union were born three children, Mrs. Charles (Celeta) Wolfe, of Adrian, Michigan; Gaylor of Angola, and Ivan of Bloomington.
    After retiring from the farm in Steuben County, they moved to Pleasant Lake.  They joined the Pleasant Lake Evangelical United Brethren Church transferring their membership from the Alvardo Methodist Church.
    She was a member of the Eastern Stars and was active in many clubs and church affairs.
    Survivors include her three children; two daughters-in-law, one son-in-law, 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Gladys Gates, Argos, and a large circle of other relatives and friends.
    Funeral services were conducted at the Swift Funeral Home in Hamilton at 2:00 p.m. Friday with Reverend Don Jennings officiating.  Interment followed in Pleasant Lake Cemetery. 
     Eastern Star services were held at the funeral home at 8 p.m. Thursday.

This is from a scrap book my grandma has.  I don't know what paper it is
from.  The year was 1974.
