Obituary:  Steuben Republican April 4, 1906
Was born in Wayne county, Ohio, March 11, 1842, and bid farewell to earth
March 21, 1906, aged 64 years and 10 days.  She was married to Jacob
Wolf, Sept. 30, 1866, and to this union were born four children, one son
and three daughters, all of whom survive her except Mary Alice, who
departed this life Aug. 7, 1896. Besides her husband and children she
leaves six grandchildren, two brothers, two sisters and a host of friends
to mourn their loss.  Mrs. Wolf and her husband united with the
Congregational church in Milford, Kansas about thirty years ago and has
been a member of the same church in Angola for the past eleven years. 
She has been a faithful companion, a kind neighbor and an affectionate

The deceased was stricken with paralysis Jan. 23, and lingered eight
eweeks and one day during which time she suffered untold agony which she
bore without a murmur.  Upon the bereaved husband more than upon the
children will fall the blunt of this great loss.  But none will wish her
back from peace and rest.  The funeral services were held at Mt. Zion
church, Saturday morning, March 24, conducted by Rev. Humgreys. 
Interment in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
