John T. Goodrich
John T Goodrich was born in New York
state
on August 1, 1817. He married Patty M Brownell in Kortright, New York
on
September 26, 1838. They moved to Steuben County and eventually lived
near
Orland where John did some farming. They had eleven children; Everett
E,
Sarah A, Silas B, Melissa, Amanda, Mary M, George, Lewis P, James, Ida
M
and Minnie T. Patty died October 19, 1861. John then married Hester M
Priest
at Elkhart, Indiana on April 7, 1863. John died at the residence of his
son, Silas, in Bronson, Michigan on July 2, 1903. John and his first
wife,
Patty, are buried at Jackson Prairie Cemetery Orland, Indiana.
