Walter Valentine Aftowski

Valentine Aftowski, age 26, of 214 South Chestnuw Street died Sunday night at 10:30 o’clock is St. Joseph Hospital after a three weeks’ illness of pneumonia. He was born in South Bend May 13, 1900.

Surviving him are his wife Stella, a daughter, Mary Jane and the following brothers and sisters, Frank, John and Joseph Aftowski, Mrs. Eleanore Cool, Mrs. Hattie Satkowski and Mrs. Cecillia Kroker, South Bend, and Alex Aftowski of Denver, Colo.

The body may be viewed in the home of Frank Aftowski, 1627 Florence Avenue. Funeral services will be held Thursday morning at 9 o’clock in St. Hedwige’s Catholic Church with Rev. S. A. Gruza CSC officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
