Wave B. Agler Sr.

October 6, 1889 – July 10, 1972

Wave B. Agler Sr., 83, of 824 Cottage Grove Ave., died at 12:45pm Monday in Memorial Hospital after a brief illness.  He had been a sales representative of the Edson-Moore Co., Detroit, for 50 years.

He was born on October 5, 1889 in Delta OH, and had lived here since 1917, coming from Toledo OH.  On May 20, 1916, in Toledo, he married Ethel Switzer, who survives, along with three sons, Wave Jr. of Hammond, Frederick of Flushing MI and John of South Bend, and seven grandchildren.

Friends may call form 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm Wednesday in the Welsheimer Funeral Home.  Services will be conducted at 2:30pm Thursday in Riverview Mausoleum, by Rev. Dale Bardsley, pastor of Trinity Grace United Methodist Church.  Interment will be in Riverview Mausoleum.

Mr. Agler was a member of Trinity Grace Church and south Bend Lodge 294, F & AM, from which he received his 50 year award of gold in 1962.
