Mrs. Blanche Albert

April 5, 1890 - November 10, 1962

 

Mrs. Blanche Albert, 72, of 522 E. 3rd St., died at 9:30 p.m. Saturday in the Hillview Nursing Home after a three-year illness.  She was born in Marshal County on April 5, 1890, and had lived in Mishawaka since she was a child.  As Blanche Feldman, she was married to S. M. Albert in Mishawaka on Sept. 9, 1913.  He died on Sept. 15, 1960.  Surviving are a son, Richard S. Albert, South Bend; two granddaughters; Bourbon, and a brother, Chester Laidlaw, Mishawaka.  A daughter, Mrs. Maryetta Spencer, died in 1961.  She was a lifetime member of First Methodist Church here and of the Pythian Sisters.  She also was member of the Order of Eastern Star.  Friends may call in the Bubb Funeral Chapel after 7 p.m. today.

ALBERT - Funeral services for Mrs. Blanche Albert, 72, of 522 E. 3rd St., who died Saturday night, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Bubb Chapel with Rev. W. Wayne Yeater, pastor of First Methodist Church, officiating.  Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be William and Keith Albert, George, Lawrence and Howard and Harold Feldman.  Mrs. Albert's sister, Mrs. Eva Yarian, of Bourbon, was among her survivors.
