Carolyn N. Albright, 93, of 1838 St. Michaels Court, South Bend, Ind., passed away in her residence at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, after an extended illness. She was a retired registered nurse. She was born on June 16, 1910 in Agusco, Md., and has lived in South Bend for 17 years coming from North Liberty, Ind.

On Sept. 14, 1929 in Benedict, Md., she married Franklin C. Albright. He preceded her in death on Nov. 3, 1988. Also preceding her in death was a son, James F. Albright on May 8, 2002. Surviving are two grandchildren, Elyse Marie (Raymond N.) Russell of North Liberty and Michael James Albright (Tamara) of South Bend; two great-grandchildren, Rhoda Ann Russell of North Liberty and Crystal Albright of South Bend; and a great-great-granddaughter, Kassidy Albright of South Bend. Mrs. Albright was a member of St. Jude’s Catholic Church in South Bend.

Visitation will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, dec. 10, in the A.M. Manuel Funeral Home, North Liberty where services will begin at 11 a.m. Officiated by Fr. Michael Winkowski. Burial will be at Westlawn Cemetery, North Liberty. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of St. Joseph County.
