Mrs. Maude G. Alexis, 53363 Hickory Rd., died this morning in St. Joseph's Hospital where she had been a patient about three weeks. She was born in LaPorte County on May 17, 1889 and had lived most of her life in the South Bend area. On Oct. 21, 1928, in Niles, she was married as Maude Beam to Leo Alexis, who survives. Also surviving are three stepsisters, Mrs. Glena O'Dell and Mrs. Jean Shurer, both of South Bend, and Mrs. May Bulter of Plymouth. Friends may call after 7 pm today in the Hollis Funeral home where services will be held at 2 pm Friday. Rev. Karl Strader, associated pastor of Calvary Temple, will officiate and burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park.
