SOUTH BEND - Services for Susieanna Allen,
55, of 10131/2 W. Jefferson Blvd., who died at 3:30 p.m. Monday
in St. Joseph's Medical Center after an illness, will be at 2
p.m. Saturday in New Jerusalem Baptist Church. Burial will be in
Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in
Alford's Mortuary.
Mrs. Allen was born Oct. 31, 1938, in
Shelby, Miss., and lived in South Bend for 35 years, coming from
Shelby. She is survived by two sons, Robert Gamble and
Larry Allen, both of South Bend; two grandchildren; her mother,
Iona Newman of South Bend; two sisters, Annie Knott
of Tampa, Fla., and Dr. Joyce Newman Giger of Birmingham,
Ala.; and two brothers, Roy Newman and Darnell Agnew, both
of South Bend.
