Anthony "Tony" Allison, 49, of Maple Street, Mishawaka, Ind., passed away unexpectedly at 9:39 p.m. on Saturday, April 8, in St. Joseph Community Hospital.
Tony was born on March 14, 1951, in Mishawaka, as the son of the late Hobart and Rosina (Dattolo) Allison. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Garrett J. Allison in October 1970.
On May 19, 1984, in Elkhart, Ind., he married the former Sherry Densmore, who survives.
He is also survived by two daughters, Tracie (Eric) Rhymer of South Bend, Ind., and Dana (Nathan) Borsa of Mishawaka; a son, Shawn Gear of Mishawaka; five grandchildren, Danielle Rhymer, Ryan Rhymer, Justin Rhymer, Nicole Borsa and Nathan P.H. Borsa; and by a sister, Linda (Phil) Dotson of Mishawaka.
Tony was a member of the B-K Club, Mishawaka, a member of the De Loretto Club, and was also a member of I.B.E.W. Union Local #153.
Friends called from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 11, in the Hahn Funeral Home, 505 West 8th Street, Mishawaka.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. today, April 12, in the Hahn Funeral Home, with Rev. Ronald Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka.
Tony's family requests, in lieu of flowers, that memorial contributions be made to the Tony Allison Benefit Fund, c/o National City Bank.
