MISHAWAKA - Hobie L. Allison, 69, of 15th Street passed away at 4:32 a.m. Monday, Aug. 5 in St. Joseph Community Hospital, Mishawaka, Ind., after an illness.

Mr. Allison was born Oct. 7, 1926, in Mishawaka, Ind., and was a lifelong area resident.

On Aug. 14, 1945, in Niles, Mich., he married Rosina J. Dattolo. She survives with a daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Phil Dotson of Mishawaka, Ind.; a son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Sherry Allison of Mishawaka; grandchildren, Joe Dotson, Dana and Nathan Borsa, Shawn Gear, Janet Dotson Grannan; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Sue Allison Ward of Mishawaka and Rebecca Hummell of South Bend, Ind.; and one brother, Garrett ''Jerry'' Allison of Osceola, Ind.

Mr. Allison was preceded in death by a son, Garrett J. Allison in October of 1970; and a grandson Danny Dotson in November of 1990. His brother, Robert L. Allison also preceded him in death.

Hobie was employed by Selmer Printing for 29 years and retired in 1991.

Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m., today, in the Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. Eighth St., Mishawaka, Ind. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 7, at the First Presbyterian Church, Mish-awaka, with Rev. Ronald Miller officiating. Friends may also call from 10 to 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, at the church. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery.

Mr. Allison was a member of the B-K Club, American Legion Post 161, and the Good Fellows Club. Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army or the First Presbyterian Church.
