SOUTH BEND - Lola Pearl Allison, 81, of Layden St., died at 6:25 p.m. Friday in Carlisle Nursing Home. Mrs. Allison was born Dec. 3, 1912, in North Liberty, living here a lifetime. On April 22, 1939, as Lola P. Smith, she married Jay Samuel Allison. He died in 1991. Surviving is a sister, Ruth Mcavoy of Phoenix. She was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Welsheimer Funeral Home. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery. Friends may call two hours before services Tuesday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
