SOUTH BEND - Mary Ann Ames, 57, of Silver Lane, died Tuesday in Saint Joseph's Regional Medical Center, after an illness. Survivors include her husband, Ernest; a son, Lars Wallace Jr. of Mishawaka; her mother, Nettie Leodanski of South Bend; four sisters, Virginia Tirotta and Joanne Weaves, both of South Bend, Josephine White of Osceola and Viola Ernsberger of Elkhart; and a brother, Vince Leodanski of South Bend. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday in Guisinger Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, where friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
