Michael Andrysiak

Michael Andrysiak, aged 72, of 340 South Scott street, died at 5:30 a.m. in his home. He had been ill since February. Born in Poland Sept. 18, 1876, he came to South Bend from that country in 1880. On June 13, 1905, he was married in St. Hedwige’s Catholic church to Miss Josephine Wentland, who survives. He was employed by the Studebaker corporation as a painter. Also surviving are three children, Leo M. and Mrs. Elizabeth Mott, of South Bend, and Eugene J., of Niles, Mich.; four sisters, Mrs. Mary Slisz, Mrs. Harriet Glon, and Mrs. Helen Leets, all of South Bend, and Mrs. Ruth Stage, of Detroit, Mich.; two brothers, Casimir of South Bend, and Stanley of the veteran's hospital, Kecoughtan, Va.; and four grandchildren. Friends may call in thehome after 5 p.m. today. The funeral will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday in St. Hedwige's church with Rev. Boleslaus J. Sztucsko, C.S.C., pastor, officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Polish cemetery. Mr. Andrysiak was a member of St. Joseph league in St. Hedwige's parish.
