Thomas E. Anspaugh

Thomas E. Anspaugh, 67, of 707 Georgia St., Walkerton, Ind., passed away on Saturday, May 27, at 9:45 p.m. in the Walkerton Miller's Merry Manor. He was a welder for the Kirsch Construction Company in Hammond, Ind. for 32 years, last working for Wells Aluminum Company in North Liberty for three years. He was born on July 7, 1932 in LaGrange, Ind., and had lived in the Walkerton area his lifetime.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Anspaugh and Evelyn Scarborough, both of the Walkerton area. He is survived by two daughters, Patricia L. Holcomb of Walkerton and Brenda K. Hooten of Plymouth; two sons, Terry L. and Gary E., both of Plymouth; two sisters, Norma Singleton of Bonita Springs, Fla. and Frances Tibbet of LaPorte; and by five grandchildren. Mr. Anspaugh was a Korean War Veteran.

 

The Walkerton American Legion Post #189 will hold a memorial service at the A.M. Manuel Funeral Home, North Liberty, where services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 31. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday. Cremation will follow the services.
