MISHAWAKA - Edward Artemik, 79, of Mishawaka, IN, formerly
of Nanticoke, PA, died on Saturday, January 12, 2008, in his
residence. He was born on August 28, 1928, to the late Edward and
Tillie (Gorski) Artemik in Nanticoke, PA. Along with his
parents, one granddaughter, Jennifer Lauren Speiss, and
one sister, Helen Katulak, both preceded him in death.
Mr. Artemik was retired from the Eagles
Lodge in South Bend, IN, where he bartended for many years. He is
survived by one daughter, Stephanie Richey of South Bend,
IN; one son, Edward Bristol Artemik of South Bend, IN; and one
grandson, Robert C. Speiss of South Bend, IN. Edward was an Army
veteran, having served during the Korean War.
There will be no visitation or services. Cremation will take place with burial to follow at Riverview Cemetery at a later date. Kaniewski Funeral Home, South Bend, IN, is handling arrangements.
