Lyle H. Aulwurm

March 2, 1935December 29, 2001

 

Lyle H. Aulwurm, 66, of Old Sycamore Ct., Granger, IN., passed away at 10:20 p.m. Saturday, in his residence after an illness. Lyle was born in Blue Island, Ill., on March 2, 1935.

He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War honorably discharged in 1956, a member of the Rotary Club, Kiwanis and Lake of the Woods home owners association. Lyle retired in 1993, from Ameritech of Illinois, as a Manager after 35 years of service.

On May 27, 1967 in South Bend, Lyle married Norma J. Nagy, she survives, along with one son; Lyle F. (Alison) Aulwurm of Sarasota, Fla., one daughter, Lynn T. Aulwurm of Lexington, Ky., and a sister, Joan (Kenneth) Roegner of Beaverton, Oregon.

Lyle was preceded in death by his parents, Lyle W. and Helen (Hollstein) Aulwurm and a sister, Joyce Termunde.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 2nd in Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main St., Mishawaka where friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today, January 1, and one hour prior to services on Wednesday.
