John J. Babocsai Jr., 48, died after a long illness on Sunday, Feb. 26, in VA Northern Indiana Health Care System, Fort Wayne.

John married Pam Hartman. They had a son, Jonathan C. Babocsai. John's father, John Babocsai, and son, Jonathan C. Babocsai, preceded him in death.

John was in the U.S. Army. He worked for Carolina Prime in North Carolina as a foreman for 10 years. He returned to Indiana and worked for Indiana Wiping Cloth. John had many, many friends and will be greatly missed.

John is survived by his mother, Helen Braun of South Bend; three sisters, Helen Sigety and Ava VonBraun-Wells, both of South Bend, and Mary Wagers of South Carolina; and four brothers, Joseph Babocsai, Geza Babocsai and Ted Braun, all of South Bend, and Frank Berzai of Goleta, Calif.

Private services were held. There was no visitation.
