Henrietta E. Badur, 94, of Hamilton Communities in New Carlisle, Ind., formerly of South Bend, Ind., passed away Wednesday, Nov. 24, in the nursing home. Henrietta was born on April 5, 1910, in South Bend, to William and Lottie (Chmielewski) Kazmirski. She retired in 1960 as the manager of Badur Brothers Coal Company after 21 years of service.

 

On May 18, 1931, in South Bend, Henrietta married Aloysius Badur, who preceded her in death on June 28, 1974. Surviving are a daughter, Patricia Deranek of South Bend; sons, Jerome (Barbara) Badur of South Bend and John (Pat) Badur of South Bend; grandchildren, James (Kim) Deranek of West Lafayette, Ind., Deborah (Chris) Ulch of Edgewater, Fla., Dennis (Michele) Badur of South Bend, Daniel Badur of South Bend, Pamela (Ronald) Dials of South Bend, Lori (Robert) Gorny of South Bend and Jon (Sandra) Badur of Edwardsburg, Mich.; and 13 great-grandchildren. Sisters, Mamie Kocinski and Eleanor Jackowski, and brothers, Stanley and Edward Kazmirski, all preceded her in death.

 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 27, in St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, South Bend, with burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 26, in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, South Bend, where a parish Rosary will be held at 7 p.m. Henrietta was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, South Bend, the Apostleship of Prayer and Goodwill Club of St. Stanislaus B&M Parish, an auxiliary member of the Legion of Mary at Corpus Christi Parish, and was a former member of Z.B.
