D. Reviere Baer, 75, of 19769 Dice, died at 10 PM Sunday in St. Joseph's hospital after a five-month illness.  Born October 15, 1900, in South Bend, he had lived here his lifetime.  On June 20, 1922, he married Ruth Wells, who survives.  Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Ray Michael of South Bend and Mrs. Kenneth Koontz of the Des Plaines, Illinois; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 1:30 PM Wednesday in the Forrest G. Hay and Son Funeral Home, 1201 South Michigan.  Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.  Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM Tuesday in the funeral home.  Baer was a member of South Bend Lodge 294, F. & AM; The Scottish Rite, Valley of South Bend; Murat Temple and the past president of the Travelers Protective Association, the Civitan Club and the Centre Township Boosters Club.  Masonic Memorial services will be conducted at 7 PM Tuesday in the funeral home by members of Lodge 294.

John D. Trefzger, DD, pastor of the First Christian Church, is to officiate.  Burial is to be in the Riverview Cemetery.  Friends may call from 7 to 9 PM today in the funeral home.
