Arlin H. Bailey

Arlin H. Bailey, 74, of Locust Road, South Bend, Ind., passed away in Ironwood Health and Rehabilitation Center at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, March 12, after an illness. Arlin was born in Antigo, Wis., on June 23, 1930, and moved to this area in 1952. He was employed by Clark Equipment Company of Buchanan, Mich. He was a member of the Apostolic Temple of South Bend; he was also a veteran of the Marine Corps serving during the Korean War.

 

Arlin H. Bailey married Mary E. Avery in South Bend, on Feb. 27, 1954. She survives along with a daughter, Kathren Bailey of South Bend; two sons, Gary Bailey of Osceola and David Bailey of South Bend; and six grandchildren. Also surviving are three sisters, Gean Blair and Edith Hammond, both of Mishawaka, Ind., and Jeanette Lanno of Florida.

 

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 16, in the Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main St., Mishawaka, where friends may call from 4 until 8 p.m. today, March 15. Burial will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.
