Maggie Olive Bailey

SOUTH BEND - Maggie Olive Bailey, 77, of 1007 W. LaSalle St., died at 2:50 p.m. Thursday in her home after an illness. Mrs. Bailey was a former seamtress for Koszegi Leather & Vinyl Products. She was born Jan. 17, 1917, in Camden, Miss., and lived in South Bend since 1968, coming from Camden.

 

Her husband, Fred Bailey, preceded her in death. She is survived by four sons, John Olive, Ceaser Olive, Joe Wiggins and Willie Wiggins, all of South Bend; 13 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and two brothers, John W. Olive and Ceaser Olive, both of Canton. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church.

 

Services will be Saturday in Mercy Chapel Baptist Church, Camden. Burial will be in Mercy Chapel Cemetery. Family Memorial Services, Canton, Miss., are in charge of arrangements. Clark's Funeral Chapel is in charge of local arrangements.
