MISHAWAKA - Patsy ''Charlie'' Baiz,
78, of 705 Hubbard St., died of natural causes at 6 a.m. Monday
in his home. Mr. Baiz retired in 1981 from Bendix Corp. He was
born July 7, 1917, in Detroit and lived in Mishawaka for 40
years.
On Nov. 26, 1955, in South Bend, he married
Irene L. Kaiser. She died June 19, 1991. He is survived by
three sons, Alex, Patrick and Michael, all of Mishawaka; four
grandchildren; and three brothers, Joe of Dearborn, Mich., Moses
of LaPuente, Calif., and Ed of Mishawaka. He was an Army veteran
of World War II and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post
360.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in
Chapel Hill Funeral Home, Osceola. Burial will be in Chapel Hill
Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in
the funeral home.
