GRANGER - Martha Susana Baker, 99, of Foxcross Drive, died at 3:50 a.m. Monday in Elkhart General Hospital. Mrs. Baker was a former milliner. She was born May 25, 1895, in Jackson County, Miss., and lived in Granger since 1981, coming from St. Louis.

On Nov. 3, 1923, in St. Louis, as Martha Byrd, she married Frank Edwin Baker. He died Sept. 10, 1981. She is survived by a daughter, Mary Jane Lyle of Granger; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was a member of First Nazarene Church, Mishawaka.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main St., Mishawaka. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
