Death notice: Shirley L. Peltz-Baker (June 14, 1937 -- June 23, 2003)

CULVER -- Shirley L. Peltz-Baker, 66, of Chandler, Ariz., formerly of Culver, died at 7:48 a.m. June 23 in Chandler Regional Hospital. Survivors include her husband, John W.; a daughter, Theresa Fennerin of Mesa, Ariz.; a sister, Evelyn Kovachevich of South Bend; and a brother, Theodore Peltz of Argos. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Bonine Funeral Home. There will be no visitation.

Note:  A late notice (three months) appeared in the South Bend Tribune, the date of notice is correct.  Shirley died on a Monday, was buried on Tuesday (first husband, John W. Baker; second husband, Michael Fennerin).
