Anna Jane Baldwin

Anna J. Baldwin, 81, formerly of Lynnewood Avenue in South Bend, Indiana, passed away at the Milton Home in South Bend, Thursday, December 30, 2004. Anna was born on May 14, 1923, to Ralph and Mildred Weiss. She retired in 1988, from St. Joseph Regional Medical Center as an LPN with over 30 years of service.

 

Surviving are her son, John Miller of South Bend; step daughters, Connie Miller of Florida, Sherry Hunt of Florida; a granddaughter, Alison Miller of Mishawaka; and a brother, Hal Weiss of Phoenix, AZ. Her husband, Donald Baldwin preceded her in death in June of 1985. A sister, May Walker, and brothers, Leonard, Richard & John Weiss also preceded her in death. Anna was a member of the Northwest United Methodist, graduated from Riley High School in 1943, and the former Kline School of Nursing, (Ivy Tech).

 

Visitation will be held from 2-5 PM Sunday, January 2, 2004, in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, South Bend. Funeral services will at 10 AM Monday, January 3, 2004, at the Northwest United Methodist Church, 21855 Brick Road, South Bend, Indiana. Burial will follow at Southlawn Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to, Camp Millhouse 25600 Kelly Road, South Bend, Indiana 46614.
