OSCEOLA - Grace Irene Balentine, 71, of Rogers in Osceola, Ind., passed away at 10:38 p.m on Sunday, May 17, at Elkhart General Hospital. Grace was born on April 6, 1927, in Johnson City, Tenn., to James and Sarah Elizabeth (McLure) Felts.

On March 23, 1957, in Mishawaka, Ind., she married Lewis E. Balentine. Grace leaves to cherish her memories her loving husband, Lewis E. Balentine; three sons, Lewis Darrel (Tammy) Balentine of Osceola, Mike (Janet) Balentine of Middlebury, Ind., Mark (Barb) Balentine of Constantine, Mich.; a daughter, Sherry (Randy) Borders of Goshen, Ind.; a brother, Frank (Blanch) Felts of Fall Branch, Tenn.; a sister, Thel Hawkins of Johnson City, Tenn.; and by 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Grace was preceded in death by three brothers, George Felts, Jim Felts and Jesse Felts; and by two sisters, Edith Feathers and May Godsey.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 today at the Chapel Hill Funeral Home. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 20th. Burial will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Osceola.
